Kirsty began her youth career at Chelsea and remained there for seven years, rising through the youth system at the club’s Regional Talent Club (formerly Centre of Excellence).
Whilst at Chelsea, Barton received a few senior call-ups before suffering an ACL knee injury which took her over a year to recover from.
On Barton’s return, she signed with the Albion in 2011 and has remained at the club ever since.
The versatile midfielder formed part of the Albion squad that gained promotion to the 2017 FA WSL 2 Spring Series, and is the club’s current longest-serving player.
She made 19 appearances in all competitions in 2018/19.
