Aileen Whelan arrived at the club in September 2017 from Everton.
The forward has extensive experience playing in the WSL for both Notts County and the Toffees, and she also represented England at under-23 level.
Aileen has also represented Team GB at the World Student Games, winning the gold medal at the 2013 tournament. She can play as a wide or central midfielder or up front.
Since joining Albion she has been an ever-present, making more than 50 appearances prior to the start of the 2021-22 campaign. She signed a new one-year contract in June 2021.
