Current Season Stats
Emma Koivisto joined Albion on an 18-month contract from Swedish top-flight side Gothenburg FC in February 2021.
The defender has over 50 senior caps for Finland and was part of the squad which has qualified for the European Championships, that will be hosted by England in 2022.
She won the Swedish top-flight with Gothenburg in 2020, as well as the Finnish championship in 2017 with FC Honka.
Having come through the ranks at the women's side representing HJK Helsinki she made her debut for HJK in 2010, before signing for Honka two years later. She spent three years in America with Florida State Seminoles, before moving to Sweden in 2018.
Koivisto has represented her country at youth level, from under-16 up to under-20 level before making her senior debut in 2012.
She made a fantastic start to her Albion career as part of the side which ended Chelsea's long unbeaten home run in February 2021. Emma went on to establish herself in the full-back positions, and can play on either flank.
