Lisa completed a Sports Science MSc in 2008. Following three years of running a personal training and sports massage business and providing fitness instructor training, she qualified with an MSc in Physiotherapy in 2011.
Since qualifying Lisa has worked for both the NHS and in private practice. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience treating back and neck conditions, problematic shoulders, painful knees and ankles. She has a special interest in female ACL injuries.
As a keen sportswoman herself; Lisa has a particular interest in lower limb sports injuries. Her specialist skills & experience resulted in her selection as a Physiotherapist for the World Athletics Championships in London.
In addition, Lisa has gained experience with Charlton Athletic Women’s team, American Football & Rugby teams in the South East of England.
With an interest in improvement and development, Lisa is nearing completion of a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and recently updated her FA trauma first aid qualification (ATMMiF).
Lisa’s caring and friendly personality, allied to her clinical skills, enhances her ability to provide assessment and treatment for the Women’s and Girl’s department at BHAFC.
