Viktor Gyokeres signed for Brighton & Hove Albion from IF Brommapojkarna in September 2017, but didn't join up with his team-mates until January 2018.
The Swedish forward signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Seagulls, but stayed with his former club to win Superettan (second tier) and gain promotion to Sweden's top division.
The forward made an impressive start to his Albion career, scoring 11 goals in 12 appearances, as the Seagulls won promotion to the top flight of under-23 football.
Gyokeres fired home on his third appearance in the Premier League 2 Division 1, while also being handed his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against Southampton at the Amex Stadium.
A further four appearances followed in the Emirates FA Cup, while also scoring seven goals in 19 Premier League 2 games for Albion’s under-23s, helping them to a third-placed finish.
Gyokeres was the joint-top scorer in the 2017 UEFA Under-19 European Championship, scoring three goals in three appearances for his country.
After being called up to the senior squad for two international friendlies, Gyokeres scored his first senior goal in a 2-2 draw against Iceland.
