2018/19 Season Stats
Aaron Connolly moved into Albion's under-23 side for the start of the 2017/18 campaign, following his move from Irish club Mervue United in 2016.
The Irishman scored a brace on his first under-23 appearance in the 2016/17 season, and added further goals to his tally - with strikes against Southampton, Stoke City and Newcastle United.
Connolly came off the bench for Albion's first team to make his senior debut in the 2-0 victory over Barnet in the EFL Cup in 2017.
The Irishman hit double figures for Simon Rusk's side during the 2017/18 campaign, and scored the second goal in their play-off final victory over Aston Villa.
Connolly opened the 2018/19 season in excellent form, as he scored the equalising goal for Albion against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
He went on to score 17 goals for Rusk’s team, including a hat-trick against MK Dons in the Checkatrade Trophy, which earned his the PL2 Player of the Season award.
Connolly also spent the final months of the season on loan at Luton Town, where he made two appearances for the Sky Bet League One champions.
The striker has also represented Republic of Ireland at under-17, under-18 and under-19 level, before scoring on his debut for the under-21s against China at the 2019 Toulon tournament in France.
