The 20-year-old has represented Belgium from under-15 to under-19 level and is a central defender who can also operate in midfield.

He made 17 appearances in Premier League 2 in his first campaign on the south coast, scoring once in a 6-1 defeat of West Ham.

His older brother Leander plays for Wolves.
