Having impressed in his first few months with the club, he was handed his Premier League debut at Manchester City by Graham Potter in January 2021.

Reda signed a new contract in April that year, that runs until the end of the 2022/23 season.

The winger spent the 2021/22 season on loan with Blackburn Rovers, making 27 appearances, scoring five goals and laying on four assists.

He has represented Germany at under-18 level and was called up to the under-21 squad in March 2022.
