Percy Tau

Percy Tau signed for Albion in July 2018 from Mamelodi Sundowns on a four-year contract.

Tau began his career with the South African Premier Soccer League side, before he spent a season with Witbank Spurs in 2015/16, then returning to the Sundowns in 2016.

He won the South African title three times, twice with Sundowns in 2014 and 2018, and with Spurs in 2016. He also won the African Champions League and the South African Super Cup with Sundowns.

He joined Albion in summer 2018 and was loaned to Belgian second division side Royale Union Saint-Gilloise where he enjoyed another fruitful season.

Having reached the Belgium Cup semi-finals, his impressive form for the club owned by Albion chairman Tony Bloom, saw him named the Proximus Player of the Season, as well as being named in the Team of the Season.

His outstanding campaign caught the eye of Club Brugge, who took Tau on loan for the 2019/20 season, where he helped them win the Belgium top-flight, as well as getting the chance to experience European Champions League football for the first time.

Anderlecht were his next stop, as he joined Vincent Kompany's men for the 2020/21 season, before being recalled by Albion in January 2021.
