Florin Andone became Albion's second signing of the 2018 summer transfer window, after his move to the club was confirmed in May that year.

He signed a five-year-deal and officially joined the club on 8th June.

He has made 69 appearances across two seasons for Deportivo La Coruna, scoring 18 goals and has also represented CD Castellon, Villarreal, Atletico Baleares (loan) and Cordoba during his time in Spain.

Andone has a total of 21 caps for Romania, including three appearances at the 2016 European Championships.

His senior Romania debut came in a Euro 2016 qualifier against Northern Ireland in June 2015, a match which also featured current Seagulls midfielder Oliver Norwood.

The Romanian international scored a total of 23 goals in 86 La Liga appearances.

Injury saw him miss the start of the 2018/19 season, and he made his first appearance in the 3-1 defeat to Everton in October 2018.

The Romanian scored his first goals for the club in the back-to-back wins over Huddersfield Town and Crystal Palace in December, before scoring in the reverse fixture against the Terriers in March.
