Florin Andone

Florin Andone became Albion's second signing of the 2018 summer transfer window, joining from then La Liga side Deportivo La Coruna on a five-year deal.

He made 69 appearances across two seasons for Deportivo, scoring 18 goals, as well as playing for CD Castellon, Villarreal, Atletico Baleares (loan) and Cordoba during his time in Spain. In total, he scored 23 goals in 86 La Liga appearances.

Andone has represented Romania 25 times, including three appearances at the 2016 European Championships.

His senior debut came in a Euro 2016 qualifier against Northern Ireland in June 2015.

Injury saw him miss the start of the 2018/19 season, and he made his first appearance in a 3-1 defeat to Everton in October 2018.

The Romanian scored his first goals for the club in the back-to-back wins over Huddersfield Town and Crystal Palace in December, before netting in the reverse fixture against the Terriers in March.

The 27-year-old spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Turkish top-flight side Galatasaray where he suffered a serious knee injury, that ruled him out for a majority of the 2020/21 season.

Florin joined Spanish side Cadiz for the 2021/22 season on loan, where he made nine appearances, scoring once.
