2019/20 Season Stats
Leandro Trossard became the club’s second signing of the 2019 summer transfer window, after arriving from KRC Genk on a four-year contract.
He arrived at the club after playing a key role in the side’s Jupiler Pro League title in 2018/19, scoring 14 goals in 34 games, while also claiming seven assists.
Trossard translated his impressive form to the Europa League, where he scored eight times in 11 games – plus three more assists – as Genk progressed to the last 32 of the competition.
The 24-year-old started his career in the academy at Genk, before loan spells at Lommel United, Westerlo and OH Leuven.
He has also represented Belgium from under-16 to under-21 level, before making his senior debut for the Red Devils in a 2-0 victory over Denmark in September 2020.
