Taylor Richards joined Albion in July 2019 from Manchester City, before signing a new three-year contract with the club in August 2021.
The midfielder broke into City’s under-23s during the 2018/19 Premier League 2 campaign, making 15 league appearances, as well as 5 in the UEFA Youth League and 4 in the EFL Trophy.
Richards ended the season with an impressive 10 goals from 29 appearances, and continued his goalscoring form by hitting the winning penalty on his first pre-season appearance for Albion against Crawley Town.
The 20-year-old spent the 2020/21 season on loan with Doncaster Rovers, where he was a regular, scoring 11 goals in 48 outings.
He went onto make his Premier League debut for Albion at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign, in a 2-0 home defeat to Everton.
Taylor joined Championship side Birmingham City on loan for the second half of the 2021/22 season, where he made five league appearances.
