Tomer Hemed

Israeli-born Tomer Hemed joined the Seagulls in 2015 and has since fired over 30 goals for the club during his time on the south coast.

After impressing for the under-18s at Maccabi Haifa, Hemed made his breakthrough into the first-team in 2006 and spent a large portion of his formative years on loan at Maccabi Herzliya, Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv and Maccabi Ahi Nazareth.

Former Aston Villa boss John Gregory managed the forward at Maccabi Ahi Mazareth before Hemed returned to Maccabi Haifa, where his goals helped the Israeli side to the league title.

He spent three years at the Iberostar Estadi, but was unable to prevent the club’s relegation to the Segunda league in 2012/13.

An Achilles injury at the end of that season sidelined the attacker until Christmas 2013, returning for the second half of the 2013/14 campaign.

He left Mallorca with a record of 21 goals in 90 appearances (58 starts) before returning to La Liga in the summer of 2014 with Almeria.

He hit nine goals for Almeria in the Spanish top division before Hemed joined the Seagulls in June 2015. He scored his first goal for the Seagulls from the spot to earn Albion a dramatic 2-1 win at Fulham.

Hemed went on to score 17 goals in his first season at the club, and also hit double figures for the Seagulls during the 2016/17 campaign, which saw Albion reach the Premier League.

The forward fired his first Premier League goal in Albion's 3-1 victory against West Bromwich Albion, before also finding the back of the net against Newcastle United.

The Israeli struggled for game time, making 16 appearances in 2017/18, and joined Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan deal in the following campaign.

The striker scored his first goal for the Hoops in a 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic back in August 2018, and found the net seven times in 27 league appearances for the west Londoners.
