Tom McGill joined Albion at 14-years-old and represented England at Under-17 level, before being called up to the Canada senior squad in March 2023.

He progressed through the club's youth ranks, before joining the under-23 squad for the 2018/19 campaign. The goalkeeper made over 30 appearances for Albion's under-18s in the Premier League South, and made a loan move to Greenwich Borough during his first season with the under-23s.

McGill made his Premier League 2 Division 1 debut against Manchester City at the Academy Stadium, making a number of important stops and keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 victory.

Loans with Basingstoke Town and Crawley Town would follow, the latter for which he would make his professional debut as a substitute in a League Two match against Walsall. Tom signed a new contract with Albion in June 2023, extending his stay with us until 2025, with an option for another year.

Tom spent the first half of the 2024/25 season on loan in League Two with MK Dons, making 25 appearances before returning to us in January of that campaign. He signed a new two-year deal in May 2025.
