Evan Ferguson joined from Bohemians in January 2021, before breaking a number of club records as he quickly rose through the academy ranks and into the first team.
He made his senior debut for Albion in August 2021, coming on as a substitute in the 2-0 win over Cardiff City in the Carabao Cup second round, going onto make his first Premier League appearance in a home defeat to Burnley in February 2022.
In making his debut at Cardiff, he became the fifth youngest Albion appearance maker in the post-war era.
The striker scored his first senior goal for Albion in a 3-0 Carabao Cup victory over Forest Green Rovers in August 2022.
On his 18th birthday in October 2022, he signed a new contract that runs until June 2026.
On New Year's Eve 2022, he scored his first league goal for the club in a 4-2 defeat to Arsenal, becoming our youngest scorer in the Premier League at 18-years and 73 days old.
The following match, a 4-1 win against Everton in which Evan scored, he became our youngest ever starter in the Premier League.
The teenager finished the 2022/23 season with six goals and two assists in 19 Premier League appearances, while three FA Cup goals and a strike in the Carabao Cup took his tally up to ten for the campaign.
Evan signed a new contract with Albion in November 2023, that runs until June 2029.
He made 27 Premier League appearances during the 2023/24 season, scoring six goals.
Evan has played for the Republic of Ireland at under-15 and under-17 level, before making his under-21 debut in September 2021. He followed that up in November 2022 with his senior debut, coming on as a late substitute against Norway.
He was named his country's Young International Player of the Year in both 2022 and 2023.
