Lee serves as the Chief Finance and Administration Officer. After joining the club in June 2022 to oversee day-to-day financial operations, his immediate impact and leadership saw him take a seat on the board of directors just three months later.
His executive remit has steadily expanded during his tenure. In 2024, he established and integrated a dedicated procurement department into the club’s structure, and in 2025 he assumed overall responsibility for Brighton's football administration and legal departments.
Beyond his core financial and administrative duties, Lee plays a key role in the club's broader sporting and community initiatives. As a member of the board of directors for the women's and girls' teams, he supports the strategic growth of the women's game. He also serves as a trustee for the Brighton & Hove Albion Foundation, guiding the club's charitable outreach and community impact across Sussex.
Prior to arriving on the south coast Lee built a strong foundation in audit and football operations in the West Midlands. He began his career in various areas of audit/accountancy/corporate finance at a large independent accounting firm before joining West Bromwich Albion in 2016. During his time at West Brom, he led the finance function while also acting as a trustee for its charitable arm - cementing a career-long commitment to pairing robust financial governance with strong community values.
