The 25-year-old is one of Albion’s longest-serving women’s first-team players having joined from Championship side Charlton Athletic in July 2020. She has made four appearances.
City are embroiled in a fierce title race with only four Barclays Women’s Super League matches remaining this term.
Interim Women's Head Coach Mikey Harris said, "This is a great opportunity for Katie to help Manchester City and be part of the Women’s Super League title race.
"Katie is a fantastic person and professional, with an excellent work ethic and determination both on and off the pitch. I’ve not doubt she’ll be a big asset for City during the run-in.
“We will be monitoring her progress for the remainder of the season. We wish her the best of luck and look forward to welcoming her back to the club having had a positive experience which will benefit her in the future.”
