Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Pervis Estupinan will be on the bench to face Ajax on Thursday at the Johan Cruyff Arena tonight, kick-off 5.45pm GMT.
Team news
Estupinan could make his first appearance for Albion since our defeat away at Aston Villa at the end of September.
While not wanting to risk the Ecuadorian, injuries to other players may force Roberto De Zerbi's hand.
"Estupinan is with us," Roberto confirmed in his press conference on Wednesday. "Tomorrow he will be on the bench. Maybe he can play one part of the game. I don’t want to take a risk with him, but now we don’t have too many solutions in that position.
"We are trying to get him in the condition to play tomorrow or on Sunday because we have another important game against Sheffield United. [Tariq] Lamptey is not ready yet, he could be available after the break."
