Baggaley ready for WSL with Albion.

We’re delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Sophie Baggaley for undisclosed terms, subject to the usual regulatory processes.

Head coach Melissa Phillips said, “We’re really pleased to welcome Sophie to the club.

“She is looking forward to the challenge of helping us achieve our aims for this season and the future, and her experience of the WSL will only help the squad as we move forward.”

Baggely joins Albion from Manchester United.

The 26-year-old began her professional career in 2014 with Birmingham City including a loan spell with Bristol City.

She joined Bristol City permanently in 2018 before heading to Old Trafford in 2021, making her debut for United in a League Cup tie later that year.

Sophie has represented England at every age group from under-17 to under-23 and made nearly 100 WSL appearances during her career.
