We are pleased to announce the signing of Colombian defender Jorelyn Carabali on undisclosed terms, subject to the usual regulatory processes.
Head coach Melissa Phillips said, “We’re delighted to have Jorelyn with us. This is her first taste of football in Europe, but we saw from her performances in the World Cup this summer that she has so much to offer in terms of her ability and mentality.
“We look forward to working with her, integrating her into the squad and helping us achieve our targets this season.”
Jorelyn, 26, played for three Colombian clubs – Orsomarso, Atletico Huila and Deportivo Cali – before heading to Brazil in January 2023 to play for Atletico Mineiro.
She made her international debut in 2022 and played in all five games as Colombia reached the quarter-final of the World Cup before being knocked out by England.
Carabali also helped Colombia reach the Copa America final where they were runners-up to Brazil.
