Geummin Lee signs new contract

Forward commits future to Albion.

Lee commits future in Sussex.

Geummin Lee has signed a new contract with the club.

Women's first-team head coach Melissa Phillips said, “We’re excited that Lee has extended her contract with us.

“She’s a talented player who brings an abundance of energy both on and off the pitch.

“She’s a fantastic asset to the squad with her creativity around the box and ability to stretch opposition from either midfield or forward.”

The forward has made 65 appearances for Albion and scored 14 goals across all competitions.

Lee signs new contract whilst on pre-season tour in Spain.

The South Korea international had previously played for Seoul and Gyeongju KHNP, before making the move to England to sign for Manchester City. 

After a successful loan spell in 2020/21, the striker joined Albion permanently in 2021.

Lee scored three goals in her first season with us, including a Goal of the Season from 25 yards against Reading. 

She was part of the South Korea squad which competed at the recent FIFA World Cup.
