Stott joins Melbourne City following two spells in Brighton.

Rebekah Stott will join Melbourne City, once the Australian transfer window opens, for undisclosed terms and subject to all necessary legal and regulatory processes.

Stott signed for Albion in 2020 and made ten appearances for the club but had to return to Australia in February 2021 following a Hodgkin's Lymphoma diagnosis.

She later re-signed for us in July 2022, but suffered an ankle injury that ruled her out for the first half of the season.

Rebekah made a return to the pitch for the squad in January 2023 against West Bromwich Albion in the Women’s FA Cup, where she netted her first goal in blue and white.

Head coach Melissa Phillips said, “Rebekah is a talented player and remarkable individual with a lot of experience in the game.

“She’s overcome a lot in the last few years, she’s added value to the team both on and off the pitch - we thank her for her time here.

“We wish her all the best and every success in her future endeavours, she’ll always be welcome in Brighton.”
