Travel information: Rayo Vallecano

La Liga side visit The Amex on Sunday 6 August.

Supporters are reminded that the Travel Scheme will not be in operation for our pre-season friendly against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday 6 August and you will need to purchase a ticket from the relevant transport provider.

With this in mind, fans are asked to ensure they plan their journey to and from the Amex in advance of the game against the Spanish side.

Trains: Falmer station will be closed from 11am to 3pm and 4.45pm to 8.45pm, please check Southern Rail’s website prior to travelling.

Seagull Travel: Are running a range of services for this match. To book your seat on a coach please check with their website.

Coaches: Any groups wishing to come to the match via a coach or minibus must book a parking space via supporter.services@brightonandhovealbion.com

Park & Ride: Brighton Racecourse park & ride and EDF park & ride will be open from midday and supporters must pre book parking via the club website here.

Please note: Mill Road Park & Ride will not be open.

Buses: Brighton & Hove Buses and Stagecoach will be operating a normal Sunday service.

Parking: Spaces are available to book in Sussex University (Car Park C) and the Bridge (Car Park B).

All vehicles accredited to park at the Car Park C must enter via Stanmer Park, as there will be no entry at Falmer or Knights Gate. Sussex University (Car Park C) is a short walk through the underpass to the Amex.

Roads: please note there are roadworks taking place at Coldean Lane so please leave extra time for your journey.

Drop-off and pick-up point: There are no pick-up or drop-off points along Village Way or on Woollards Way (the entrance to the Bridge Car Park B). Supporters are advised to use our official drop-off and pick-up point at University of Sussex in Car Park 5, located by the Sports Hall.

This drop-off/pick-up point is a short walk through the underpass to the Amex. 

There is no local street parking available for football supporters as all areas close to the Amex have a residents’ parking scheme in operation and enforcement officers will be on patrol.

Village Way will be extremely busy and supporters are advised to avoid this area before and after the match unless they have pre-booked parking.
