Our men’s first team kick off their pre-season on Saturday when they take on Chelsea in the Premier League Summer Series.
We kick-off at 7pm local time in Philadelphia (midnight in the UK). Supporters outside the UK and USA can watch the game live on the club website, while Sky Sports will be showing the game in the UK and NBC will be broadcasting to our fans in the USA.
This is Roberto De Zerbi’s first pre-season since joining the club last September and he has a number of new signings at his disposal for our first test of the Summer Series.

The Blues had a turbulent 2022/23 season, but they will be hoping success will return to Stamford Bridge following the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino as head coach. The Argentinian needs no introduction, having enjoyed successful spells in the Premier League with Southampton and Tottenham, as well as more recently with PSG.
Chelsea have signed Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig and Nicolas Jackson from Villareal and there have been several departures at Stamford Bridge. Kalidou Koulibaly, Mateo Kovacic, Edouard Mendy, Kai Havertz, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, N’Golo Kante, Mason Mount, Cesar Azpilicueta and Christian Pulisic all featured for Chelsea last season, but have now moved on.

Having gone 1-0 behind at Stamford Bridge in April through Conor Gallagher’s deflected strike, Albion responded when Danny Welbeck nodded in just before the break. Julio Enciso then sent the away end into raptures when his thumping strike from nearly 30 yards found the top left corner and secured our first ever league win at the Bridge.
