The 2022-23 season has been consigned to history – but what a season it was for Albion as we achieved our best Premier League finish of sixth, reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup and qualified for the Europa League for the first time.
But there isn’t long to wait until 2023-24 gets underway. After competing in the Summer Series in the USA as part of our pre-season preparations, the Premier League campaign gets underway on August 12 when we take on Luton Town at the Amex.
Then there’s the Europa League draw and confirmation of our group stage fixtures plus the FA and Carabao Cup to look forward to. Albion enter the Carabao Cup at the third-round stage.
Here’s our guide to the all-important dates for the new season:
June
Thursday 22 - Draw for the group stages of the EFL Trophy, which will feature Albion's under-21s.
July
Saturday 22 – Premier League Summer Series: Albion v Chelsea (Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA, 7pm EST).
Wednesday 26 – Premier League Summer Series: Albion v Brentford (Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, GA, 5.30pm EST).
Friday 28 – Premier League Summer Series: Albion v Newcastle United (Red Bull Arena, Harrison, New Jersey, 7.30pm EST).
August
Saturday 12 – Premier League starts with a home game against Luton Town.
September
Friday 1 – Europa League group stage draw in Monaco; Summer transfer window closes.
w/c Monday 4 – EFL Trophy group stages start.
Thursday 22 – Europa League matchday 1.
w/b Monday 26 - Carabao Cup third round where Albion enter competition.

Thursday 1 – Winter transfer window closes.
Thursday 15 & 22 – Europa League knockout rounds (8 EL 2nd place in group v 8 Champions League 3rd place in group); Europa Conference League knockout rounds (8 ECL runners-up v 8 Europa League 3rd place in group).
Sunday 25 – Carabao Cup final.
March
Thursday 7 & 14 – Europa League round of 16; Europa Conference League round of 16.
April
Thursday 11 & 18 – Europa League quarter-final; Europa Conference League quarter-final.
