Carl Rushworth and Levi Colwill are in the England U21 squad.

Two Albion players, goalkeeper Carl Rushworth and on-loan defender Levi Colwill, have been called up for an England’s U21s training camp next month ahead of this summer’s European U21 Championships.

Rushworth, who joined Albion in 2019, has already represented England at U19 and U20 level and was called into the U21 squad for the first time in October 2021.

He spent the 2021/22 season with League Two Walsall before a successful loan spell with League One Lincoln City this season.

Colwill joined Albion last summer on a season-long loan from Chelsea and has gone on to make 15 appearances for the club.

After representing England at U17 and U19 level, he made his U21 debut in 2022 in a 4-1 win over Andorra.

The European Championships are being held in Georgia and Romania from 18 June to 8 July. England are in Group B alongside Netherlands, Italy and Romania.

The training camp takes place at St George’s Park from 10-14 June.
