Adam Webster will be on the bench to face Manchester City on Wednesday.

Albion will look to secure the point they need to guarantee Europa League football next season when they face Manchester City on Wednesday, kick-off 8pm.

Our 3-1 victory over Southampton on Sunday confirmed that we will be taking part in European competition for the first time in our history, with at least seventh spot secured.

While it would take a substantial goal difference swing in Albion’s last two games to see them drop from sixth to seventh, their aim will be to ensure that there is nothing riding on our last game of the season at Villa Park.

PL Highlights: Albion 3 Southampton 1

A run of six wins in our last ten outings has seen us over the line, but City’s form is something to behold.

They have dropped just two points in a 15 game unbeaten run that has seen them snatch the title out of Arsenal’s hands.

That run saw them beat the Gunners twice, as well as the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle.

With the Premier League title in the bag, Pep Guardiola’s men have the treble in their sights. An FA Cup final against rivals Manchester United is followed by the Champions League final against Inter Milan.

Team news

Roberto De Zerbi confirmed that Adam Webster will return to the matchday squad to take on Manchester City.

[Adam] Webster can't play 90 minutes, but he can be on the bench. Robert [Sanchez] will not be on the bench."
