Beadle and Samuels have impressed in League Two and Premier League 2 this season.

James Beadle and Imari Samuels have been named in England’s squad for the upcoming under-20 World Cup in Argentina.

18-year-old goalkeeper Beadle and 20-year-old full-back Samuels will link up with the Young Lions ahead of their opening match against Tunisia on Monday 22 May.

Ian Foster’s side will also face Uruguay and Iraq in the group stages with Beadle, who spent the second half of this season on loan at Crewe in League Two, and Samuels, who impressed in his first PL2 campaign with Albion after joining from Reading last summer, hoping to help England replicate their 2017 U20 World Cup triumph.

Samy Chouchane has also been called up to the Tunisia squad, who are in the same group as England.
