Cam Peupion has won the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for April.
The forward enjoyed a fantastic month, scoring six goals and assisting three times in five appearances.
Under-21s head coach Shannon Ruth, “Cam had a brilliant end to the PL2 season and it’s great to see that recognised by the league.
“He’s worked hard to improve throughout the season and he was rewarded for that with his League Cup appearance at the beginning of the campaign, as well as being included in the Premier League squad to face Manchester United last week.”
The 20-year-old joined us in 2020 from Sydney FC, progressing through the under-18s and up to the under-21s, before making his first-team debut in August against Forest Green Rovers in the Carabao Cup.
He made his mark on the game, assisting Evan Ferguson for our third goal in the 3-0 victory.
Cam finished the PL2 season with eight goals and five assists in 23 appearances.
