Adam Webster is aiming for his first Wembley appearance.

Adam Webster hopes to make his first Wembley appearance on Sunday as Albion take on Manchester United in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final.

The defender joined us four months after our last outing at Wembley – also in the semi-finals of the FA Cup – in August 2019 and is relishing the opportunity to step out at the home of English football.

"I've been to Wembley a couple of times but never played there, so I'm absolutely buzzing.

"It's exciting. We believe we can beat anyone on our day. If we turn up, we fully believe we can make it to the final."

Such is Albion’s form that some have them as the favourites for Sunday’s game.

Adam says there’s never been a more exciting time to be at the club, especially with the way the team are playing.

"I feel like we have a team now where everyone just wants the ball. Maybe in previous years we wouldn't have 11 players that wanted the ball, whereas now we really are dominating possession, dominating chances.

"It's not just keeping the ball for the sake of it, it's so dangerous and it's a really tough  to play against."

Roberto De Zerbi's Manchester United press conference

With seven Premier League wins in 2023, the chance to reach the FA Cup final isn’t the only opportunity for success, as we set our sights on finishing in a European spot for the first time.

"There are still a lot of games to be played, let's not forget that, and we've got some very tough games against most of the top five, but it's in our hands," added Webster

"At the time that I signed Brighton weren't an established Premier League club. The main aim was to stay up. We've done that, finished ninth last year, now the sky's the limit."
