Luca Barrington has lofty ambitions for the end of the Premier League 2 season.
His assist in the 3-2 win against his form club Manchester City on Sunday took his goal contributions up to 11 for the campaign (five goals, six assists), as the 18-year-old closed in on his personal target for the season.
“As a group I want us to get as many points as possible in the league, while personally I want to get to 15 goal contributions. I am four off at the moment with four games to play.

“Once I got going my season really took off, but I’ll reflect at the end of it to see where I can do better next year.”
Luca admits it took a little while to find his feet on the south coast.
“At the start it was difficult as I was a long way from my family. But the lads have been very welcoming from the get-go and that made it a lot easier on and off the pitch. There’s [Jack] Hinchy and a few others who are from the north, they are good to chat to.
“Having that time to settle in has definitely paid off. I’ve got a lot of minutes in Premier League 2 which is great, especially being one of the younger ones in the team."
The 18-year-old was nominated for PL2 Player of the Month for March. “I had a good month goal contribution wise. Off the pitch I have really tried to dedicate myself to working hard. Getting the nomination meant a lot, hopefully there’s more to come.”
