PSG star Kylian Mbappe has praised Albion striker Evan Ferguson ahead of the Republic of Ireland’s Euro qualifier against France tonight.
The 18-year-old scored his first goal for his country last Wednesday in a 3-2 win over Latvia, becoming the youngest scorer for the Republic since Robbie Keane netted against Malta in October 1998.
France captain Mbappe said, “We saw some clips of him [Ferguson], he is a great striker and an important player for their team. But we hope that on Monday he isn’t going to do anything! We want to win and do a job, but he’s a good player.”
