Get behind Albion in our WSL game this Sunday

Designated block for away fans in place at Reading.

Albion fans can buy tickets for a specific away supporters section at Sunday's game against Reading.

Albion fans are being urged to back Amy Merricks and the team this Sunday when we travel to Reading for a crucial Barclays Women’s Super League fixture.

A section of the Select Cars Leasing Stadium – block Y24 – has been designated specifically for Albion fans to attend the game and make some noise for the girls.

Interim head coach Merricks said, “I feel we have some real momentum now and the win over Birmingham City on Sunday which got us into the semi-final of the FA Cup was a great result and performance.

“We’ve now got to concentrate on our league form and Sunday’s game at Reading is really important for both teams. With no men’s match this weekend, I hope as many Albion fans as possible can make the trip. The support at our last home game against Manchester City was fantastic and really helped the players. We would really appreciate more of the same at Reading on Sunday.”

Vitality Women's FA Cup Highlights: Birmingham 0 Albion 2

The game is part of Women’s Football Weekend, a collective celebration of the incredible talent, unmissable match action and vibrant community that makes up domestic women’s football in England.

Since the brilliant summer that saw the Lionesses crowned European champions, women’s football has gone from strength to strength with more girls getting involved to record crowd numbers attending Barclays Women’s Super League games including Albion matches at the Amex and Broadfield Stadium.

It’s ‘Hoops v Stripes’ with all to play for on Sunday!
