It's been just under three weeks since Jens Scheuer was announced as the new head coach of the women's first team.
Since then, the club have added Guro Bergsvand, Dejana Stefanovic, Zoe Morse and Briana Visalli to the playing squad during the transfer window.
It hasn't been long for the new boss to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead for the remainder of the season, but the German coach is eager to get his first WSL match at Leicester City on Sunday underway.
“I'm looking forward to the game, it's a big stadium and I think we have had a short time to prepare but we have used the time well," he said.
"We know how we want to play and defend. I can't wait to see the girls perform on the pitch.

"The WSL is one of the strongest and best league in the world. I'm excited for the second half of the season but I'm also well prepared, you can be sure that I'll adapt in quick time to the league.
"We want to win every game but it's also important to show how we want to play on the pitch."
After signing four players at the start of the year, Jens outlined the positive impact that the girls have already had in adding depth to the squad.
He added, "I'm really happy. All four girls are bringing something big to the group. they're important and we are a team.
"All are good players and have quality. For me, it's good to have more possibilities to the starting eleven, but I'm happy with the whole squad.
"We have talked and trained a lot about how we want to play. I think that we have enough strengths in my team. It takes a little bit of time but what I've seen in our sessions was really good and high-quality level.
"I'm sure that we are well prepared for Sunday and want to start well in the second half of the season."
