Roberto De Zerbi dedicated Albion's impressive 5-1 win over Middlesbrough to Italian legend Gianluca Vialli who passed away this week.

Speaking at the end of his press conference, he took a moment to pay tribute to the former Chelsea, Juventus and Italy star.

He said, "This is not a final, but it is a football game, and I want to dedicate it to Gianluca Vialli. He is Italian like me and spent time playing and working here in England. He brought the name of Italy to English football, in a very polite way, as only he could.

"I am now here working in England, some 20 years after Gianluca, I think it is important to mention this. As an Italian coach, the welcome I have received is because of Gianluca and those good Italians who came before me."
