We are delighted to announce that Lulu Jarvis has committed her future with us after signing her first professional contract.

The 18-year-old midfielder has signed a deal that will run until summer 2024.

The academy graduate is excited to continue to make the transition from the Under-21s squad to the first team.

She said, "I've been in the academy for the past four years, it's a gift for me to be able to stay here.

"The coaches and my family have sacrificed a lot for me. For them to put their trust in me and support me through this journey is amazing."

Lulu Jarvis has signed a new contract with Albion.

Jarvis added she has reaped the benefits of being regularly involved in first team training this campaign.

"It's definitely a challenge, but it's a great one. I want to be able to make a name for myself in the women's game.

"I'm now playing with or against players that I've grown up watching which is crazy, but it's a really good experience.

"Everything I can learn from them, whether it's alongside or against, is good. You can always pick up small things and put into your own game."

The youngster is excited to work under new women's head coach, Jens Scheuer, and emphasised that the squad will welcome the challenges presented in the second half of the season.

"All of us want to get as many points as possible to try and climb up the table and finish as high as we can.

"There's still so much that he [Jens Scheuer] is going to show us and it's a really exciting new step for all of us and the club."
