We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Guro Bergsvand, who has signed a deal until June 2025 with the club, subject to international clearance.
The versatile defender, 28, brings a wealth of experience to the defence, having played for Stabaek, Lyn, and SK Brann in Norway's Toppserien.
Head coach Jens Scheuer said, "Firstly we are happy that Guro has chosen to join us, I am sure that she will help us stabilise the defence.
"She has a lot of experience domestically in Norway as well as with her national team so it’s a really good signing for us.
“We are convinced by her quality, so I have no doubt that she won’t need long to adapt to the league.”
Bergsvand is also a Norway international and represented her country as part of the squad in the European Championships last summer alongside her fellow Albion teammate Elisabeth Terland.
