Alexis Mac Allister scored for Argentina in their 2-0 win over Poland at the World Cup.

Staff and players have sent messages of support to Alexis Mac Allister ahead of the World Cup Final this afternoon.

Skipper Lewis Dunk, Pascal Gross and Tariq Lamptey were amongst a collection of Alexis’s teammates to send good luck messages, and Joel Veltman put national rivalry aside to send a message, despite the south Americans knocking out the Netherlands in the quarter finals last week.

Having started the last five games in Qatar for La Albiceleste, Alexis is expected to make club history by becoming the first Albion player to play in a World Cup final.
