Albion take on London City Lionesses this Sunday in their second group stage match of the Conti Cup, kick-off 12pm.
We’re currently bottom of Group C, having slipped to a narrow 3-2 defeat to Birmingham City in our opening game.
London City on the other hand have a point to their name, having drawn with West Ham, before the Irons took an extra point in the resulting penalty shootout.

Amy Merricks spoke about the return of midfielder Megan Connolly in her press conference on Thursday, “It’s really good to have Megan back on the pitch. She’s made great progress and we hope that continues. She’s a brilliant character to have around the team, the impact of her as a person on the team is excellent.
“She has a lot of qualities on the pitch as well, she’s very hard working, has the ability to shift play from one side of the pitch to another, and to do the work out of possession. We just need to get her back to the place where she was prior to her injury.
“She’s very committed, she’s working really hard and is determined to be the best version of herself which is really important.”
