Katie Robinson made her senior England debut in the 1-1 draw against Norway.

Katie Robinson made her senior England debut on Tuesday night in a friendly against Norway.

The 20-year-old midfielder came on for the last seven minutes in the 1-1 draw at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia, Spain.

Robinson was called up by Lionesses' head coach Sarina Wiegman for the first time earlier this month and was an unused substitute in Friday's 4-0 win over Japan.

She replaced Nikita Parris and immediately looked at home, using her pace to drive at Norway's defence. One run and cross found Alessia Russo, but she strayed offside, and in the closing stages she linked up with Katie Zelem but her cross was claimed by the Norway goalkeeper.

Katie Robinson earned her call-up after some impressive performances for Albion.

England had gone in front through Rachel Daly but Norway equalised after a mistake by goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck. Nonetheless, the draw preserved England's 20-match unbeaten record in 2022 during which time they became European champions.

Robinson's former Albion team-mate Maya Le Tissier made her full debut while current team-mate Elisabeth Terland was an unused substitute for Norway.
