Roberto De Zerbi hailed Albion’s 3-2 victory over Wolves as a ‘big big win’ for his side.

Goals from Adam Lallana, Kaoru Mitoma and Pascal Gross sealed back-to-back Premier League victories for Albion, who climbed to sixth in the table.

I am very happy, it’s a big three points for us in a very difficult game but I feel we deserved to win,” he said.

“We played in our style; we played better and better without and with the ball and I was happy with the quality of the performance from the players.

“There are no simple games in the Premier League. Against ten men it’s always difficult, especially Wolves and their quick attackers.

“So, it’s a more important win, because it was a very difficult game with a very animated atmosphere.”

De Zerbi said he enjoyed celebrating with the travelling Albion fans at the final whistle

“I’m happy for our fans. When I was younger I was a fan too so I know very well the sense of the fans. When we play in the Brighton shirt, we have to show it respect. We wanted to celebrate with our incredible supporters.”

Albion are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in the Carabao Cup. “We must only think about training well, train well and learn more of my ideas. Then we think about the next game," added De Zerbi.
