Hope Powell said, “We haven’t got the option to make lots of changes but it will be good to see Yeni Park make her debut. She’s taken a bit of time to get up to speed but has trained well this week.
“The Conti Cup is a competition I enjoy and we’d like to progress from what is a tough group. Birmingham have made some good signings since relegation and we’re expecting a very tough game.”

Albion enjoyed two wins at St Andrew’s last season. They beat the Blues 5-0 last September in the WSL and had five different scorers: Victoria Williams, Inessa Kaagman, Danielle Carter, Emma Koivisto and Kayleigh Green. They returned a month later to win 1-0 in the League Cup when Meg Connolly was on target. Birmingham gained revenge in the WSL in April when they won 3-1 at the Broadfield Stadium.
