Tom McGill has signed a new contract.

Goalkeeper Tom McGill has signed a new contract that runs until June 2023.

The 22-year-old joined Albion in 2014 and progressed through the academy ranks. He is now a part of the first-team goalkeeping group alongside Robert Sanchez, Jason Steele and Kjell Scherpen.

McGill said, “I really enjoy coming into work every day with the other keepers in the group, as well as with [coaches] Ben Roberts and Jack Stern, who know how to help me kick on and carry on developing.

“I’ve been here for a long time, it’s home for me and I am looking forward to the coming season.”

Tom has previously had loans with Basingstoke Town and Crawley Town, for whom he made his professional debut against Walsall in League Two.

He made 15 Premier League 2 appearances last season, as well as starting in three of our Papa John’s Trophy matches.
