To apply for open trials, please complete the form below no later than Friday 26 August 2022.

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a licence from The FA to run two Emerging Talent Centres (ETC), giving more girls the chance to receive high-performance coaching whilst still playing for their grassroots clubs. The centres will be based at Carshalton and Whyteleafe in Surrey.

Our ETC will form an important element of our women and girls' pathway, providing players with the foundations to grow, develop and learn how to play ‘the Brighton way’. Players within our ETC programme will also have an opportunity to be taken through a talent ID process for BHAFC’s girls’ academy, which starts at the WU12 age group.

We are inviting expressions of interest from parents and carers who would like their daughters to take part. Training sessions will be held once a week at each venue for girls aged U9-U12 (born between September 2013 – August 2010).

To apply for open trials, please complete the form below no later than Friday 26 August 2022. The club will then be in touch with more information. Trials are expected to take place in September at Whyteleafe and Carshalton.

Players should live within an hour’s drive of either centre and ideally already be playing football for a grassroots club. ETCs are run in addition to grassroots club training and matches.

Women's first-team manager Hope Powell said, "We’re seeing a massive uplift in interest in the women and girls’ game, thanks to the WEUROs; we can’t wait to support a new generation of players with high-quality coaching and support at Brighton & Hove Albion’s Emerging Talent Centres. This is a fantastic time to get involved in the game and we are looking forward to working with more players."
