Graham Potter felt the 4-1 victory over Estoril was the perfect way to round off an excellent week in Portugal.
“It’s been a really positive week, we’ve worked really well and got to know each other a bit better. It’s nice to finish off the week with a good performance and knowing we can go home happy with the work we’ve put in.
“We’ve still got three weeks to go before the opening game, but we’re getting clearer.
“It’s important to have that competition and understanding in the group that anything can happen and we need to be pushing each other all the time. Everyone wants to play and support the team, that’s really good.

“Everyone’s attitude has been fantastic. We’re delighted, it’s been a positive week, we’re looking forward to going home and continuing the hard work.”
Potter is happy with how his squad is currently shaping up for the new season, but says that anything can happen while the transfer window is still open.
“My focus is always to improve the players we have here, but while the windows open you’ve got to be active and alert, but we’re really happy with the squad.
“If the personality and the attitude is like it was against Estoril, as a coach that’s fantastic.”
