Victoria Williams signs new contract

Experienced defender signs new deal that runs until June 2023.

Victoria Williams joined Albion from Sunderland in 2018.

We are pleased to announce that defender Victoria Williams has signed a new one-year contract with the club.

Williams, 32, joined Albion in July 2018 and has made 86 first-team appearances and scored five goals.

Women's first-team manager Hope Powell said, “Victoria has played a big part in helping us establish ourselves in the WSL in the four years she has been here, so we’re delighted she will be part of the next stage of our journey.

“She is an inspirational figure on the pitch and off it, driving standards in games and training. I’m sure she will play a big part in helping us achieve our objectives this season.”
