Simon Adingra signed from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland last week.

Simon Adingra will spend the 2022/23 season on loan with Royale Union Saint-Gilloise, subject to international clearance.

The striker joined Albion from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland last week, signing a four-year contract.

Technical director David Weir said, “Simon had a real breakthrough season in Denmark last season and this will give him the opportunity to build on that with regular football at a really good level.

“There’s also the chance of European football, which alongside adapting to a new country and league, will help him develop as a person and a professional.

“We will be keeping close tabs on Simon’s progress and look forward to seeing how he does this coming year. We wish him the best of luck.”

Adingra made 33 appearances in the Danish Superliga last season, scoring ten goals and registering four assists.

The 20-year-old joins a Union side who will enter the Champions League in the third qualifying round, having finished as runners-up in the Belgian top tier last season.
