Several Albion legends will be dusting off their boots on Sunday for a special charity match at Withdean Stadium.

Steve Foster, Tommy Elphick, Kerry Mayo, Stuart Tuck, Guy Butters, Paul Watson, Gary Hart, Tommy Fraser, Ian Chapman and Peter Smith will be among those taking part as the Albion Legends take on Martlets FC Allstars, who were founded in 2020 to raise money for the Martlets Hospice, which is celebrating 25 years of providing care to the people of Sussex.

The Martlets team will be managed by Norman Cook aka Fatboy Slim and coached by journalist Paul Hayward and former Albion defender Sammy Nelson.

Norman said, “Both the Albion and Martlets are a massive part of my life and they share a place close to my heart. It’s so amazing to see some of the legends we grew up cheering come out for such an amazing cause.”

The game kicks off at 1.30pm and admission is £5.
