Graham Potter had no complaints after Albion suffered a 3-0 defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad, but is pleased with their six-point haul from their last three games.
Albion were in the game after a goalless first half but three goals after the break by Riyad Mahrez, Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva took City back to the top of the Premier League.
Potter said, "I thought we acquitted ourselves well in the first half. Defensively we were solid and organised and we could have perhaps done better in a few situations we had, when our passing wasn't quite good enough.
"But they are a fantastic team who have the individual talents to hurt you. The first goal took a couple of ricochets and the second was deflected but I have no complaints about the result, City deserved to win."
Albion have picked up six points from three tough away games against Arsenal, Spurs and City, a return which Potter is delighted with.
"I think if you'd offered us six points from the last three games we'd have been happy. Spurs was a step up on the performance against Arsenal and unfortunately we weren't able to make another step up that we needed to take against City."
Potter revealed that Leo Trossard missed the game because of sickness but hopes he will have recovered in time for Sunday's home game against Southampton.
