Le Tissier up for Player and Goal of the Month

Young defender nominated for two of March's awards.

Maya Le Tissier recently became the record holder for the most WSL appearances made by a teenager.

Maya Le Tissier has been shortlisted for the Barclays FA WSL Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards.

The 19-year-old played every minute of Albion’s three league matches in March, as Albion secured victories over Aston Villa and West Ham. You can vote for her for the award here.

Le Tissier’s excellent winning goal against Villa was her first in the WSL and has been nominated for the Goal of the Month, after she fired home smartly on the volley from Megan Connolly’s corner. You can cast your vote here.
